Single pane glass is a single plate of glass that is 1/8 or 1/4 inch in depth and up to whatever width and height your storefront calls for.
Single pane glass is commonly installed into doors and widows in the lower southern states due to it being warmer. Since a single pane of glass does not have any insulating value like the double pane glass it is recommended to install single pane glass in regions that do not have extreme hot or cold weather.
Single pane glass, since it is not a insulator, is installed into exterior and interior doors / windows depending on your application.
